和平。大象 Peace Elephant
Awantika Dubey.
WCD joined Peace Elephant, a music and dance concert produced by Indian Music Center in Taiwan, to present a new work inspired by Indian dance, music, and elephant’s symbolism in Indian culture/myth, as well as the threats elephants are facing from human intrusion and poaching. Performers include Awantika Dubey (Composer/Singer/Harmonium) , Akash Dubey (Tabla), Anupriya Guha (Bharatanatyam), and XiuFeng Elementary School Choir. |

"Good-for-Nothing-Lover"
WCD
Director Wan-Chao Chang joined ShadowLight Productions'
"Good-for-Nothing-Lover" a concert reading with shadows,
for SF International Arts Festival.
About
the event: The Good-for-Nothing Lover is a unique blend
of shadow theatre, poetry reading, movement theatre and
live music, inspired by a folk love song cycle of the
same title from the Ming Dynasty (16th century China)
translated in the late fifties by the Bay Area beat poets
C. H. Kwock and Vincent McHugh…
